Shadows on the Wall: Episode 72

Before continuing, you may enjoy revisiting our original 50th anniversary summary and commentary: https://dsb4idie.blogspot.com/2016/10/episode-72-10466.html

Then & Now

Christine: Mrs. Johnson exhibits a preoccupation with foodborne pathogens. I wonder if she's had a bad experience at the Collinsport Inn restaurant before. What does it say about her that her takeaway from the Bible is "an eye for an eye"? No wonder Maggie is nervous around her.

John:  Mrs. Johnson, mayonnaise-maker. I was hoping Maggie would just wipe the mayo off her sandwich and then serve it to her again. At least she admits to being a bitter old woman.

Christine: I think Carolyn's bouncy curls are a sign that she intended to go out in search of Burke to get equal time after ranting at Vicki for one-upping her by getting a ride home with him.

John: Man, Carolyn was in fine form today. Vicki should have slapped her! But instead it was looking like Vicki might have been saving her slap for Elizabeth.

Shadows on the Wall

Christine: The Collinsport Inn phone booth is at it again, shifting its view from the restaurant entrance to the door opening into the Inn during today's episode.

John: Launch the tip-tracker, and put Mrs. Johnson down for ten cents!

A few other details from today's episode…
