Then & Now
John: Does David not realize that when Vicki gets out, his Aunt is going to hear about him having the key, and wandering around the closed section of the house? That would make him pretty dumb. Or does he really expect Vicki to die and never be found, in which case he truly is an evil monster.
Christine: I think he's not only expecting her to die and never be found but may also be contemplating making her one of his new ghost friends.
John: Why didn't Vicki just grab the key from David when she had the chance?
Christine: Why didn't she ask David to go blow out the candle?
John: I love when Joe makes it crystal clear (to the viewers, at least) that he has had enough of Carolyn.
Christine: Carolyn did not consider that good ol' Joe might eventually tire of her abuse and move on. She thinks only about what she wants and takes Joe's continued devotion for granted. She may have realized too late that she had a good thing going. Next stop. Burke Devlin.
Shadows on the Wall
John: Carolyn reminds us today of the absence of a coat rack in the foyer.
Christine: I was thinking about the lack of a coat rack yesterday when Roger was casually tossing his marvelous cape down on the foyer table.
John: What's with Liz's donut-neck dress?
Christine: That is a fabulous peignoir set with a doughnut collar, the height of 1960s boudoir fashion. Perhaps it's time to start a loungewear collection.
