Shadows on the Wall: Episode 88

Before continuing, you may enjoy revisiting our original 50th anniversary summary and commentary: https://dsb4idie.blogspot.com/2016/10/episode-88-102766.html

Then & Now

John: How is it we're just having a casual conversation about Bill Malloy's ghost while David is getting away with attempted murder.

Christine: I hadn't remembered Roger saying he thinks David is an incipient psychopath. He claims that's why Vicki should leave, because she's in danger. But aren't they all in danger, given that this was David's second attempted murder? The better argument is that Vicki doesn't have the expertise to help David with his dangerous behavior, and it's time they brought in some professional help. Does anyone have the number for Dr. Julia Hoffman?

John: I'm sorry, damp seaweed would stink up Collinwood... and I can't imagine the smell of roasted seaweed in the drawing room.

Christine: I was surprised Elizabeth was brave enough to pick up smelly seaweed that may have touched dead Bill Malloy, yet quite a bit of it still remains in the room.

Shadows on the Wall

John: Did you notice how shaky Roger was when he poured a cup of tea? Is this his first non-alcoholic drink?

Why would David leave one of his robots in the closed portion of the house? That seems like evidence someone would have planted to implicate him. Did we see those before Roger rescued Vicki?

Christine: We certainly would have noticed if there had been robots sitting out in the room, though perhaps they were tucked away where we couldn't see them and the ghost of Bill Malloy took them out to play.
