Shadows on the Wall: Episode 56

Before continuing, you may enjoy revisiting our original 50th anniversary summary and commentary: https://dsb4idie.blogspot.com/2016/09/episode-56-91266.html

Then & Now

Christine: Why is Elizabeth defending Matthew? What he did was wrong, no matter his intention, and he should be fired.

John: Carolyn seems more upset about Bill than Liz. She tells Vicki he was the nicest, sweetest man she's ever known. More than Joe? And Burke? And her uncle Roger?

Christine: Why would Roger meet Sam at the Blue Whale and openly discuss getting their stories straight? The Sheriff could probably expedite his inquiry if he questioned Bartender Bob Rooney.

John: As you pointed out 10 years ago, that shot in the Blue Whale with the reflection of the shimmering water remains a standout.

Shadows on the Wall

John: I don't know if Roger was attempting to go incognito, but if he sports another hat later on, a hat tracker will be in order. And they'll need a hat rack along with the coat rack.

Christine: Looking closely at the binding on the Family History Book, it's hard to make out the title written there, but could it be "The Holy and the Damned," as Carolyn calls it?
