Shadows on the Wall: Episode 21

Before continuing, you may enjoy revisiting our original 50th anniversary summary and commentary: https://dsb4idie.blogspot.com/2016/07/episdoe-21-72566.html

Then & Now

Christine: When Carolyn offered to make toast for breakfast, pointing out that Victoria was hired as a governess rather than a cook, it got me wondering who actually does the cooking at Collinwood — or whether the family survives on Swanson TV dinners, canned goods, and takeout from the Collinsport Inn.

John: That's right — where is Mrs. Johnson hiding? I wonder if they live off of Collinsport canned fish?

How cool would it have been if Burke was calling in Charles Bronson!

Shadows on the Wall

Christine: Burke is still trying to finish the same edition of The Collinsport Star he was reading when Roger interrupted him in the previous episode. With Bill now interrupting him, I have to wonder if he'll ever make it to the issue featuring Roger's accident on the front page.

John: Today we're introduced to two Collinwood appliances: the coffee pot AND toaster!

What early hints, details, or connections stood out to you in this episode?
