Shadows on the Wall: Episode 94

Before continuing, you may enjoy revisiting our original 50th anniversary summary and commentary: https://dsb4idie.blogspot.com/2016/11/episode-94-11366.html

Then & Now

John: Joe's a straight-shooter, and Carolyn is anything but. If I had to bet at this point, I'd swear that girl is going to be the death of him.

Maggie ignores Carolyn's greeting in The Blue Whale, and then is forced to sit next to her. Even when Joe and Carolyn are off dancing, she's clearly not having a good time. What this girl needs is an elder statesman to come into her life that worships the ground she walks on.

Richard Garner's look suggests he's not thrilled about Frank getting involved with Vicki.

Christine: I suspect Richard Garner's concern is that Frank's involvement with Vicki may be a conflict of interest. As he said, Elizabeth Stoddard is their client, not Vicki. He doesn't want Frank to go digging up information that could compromise Elizabeth's secret, but he also can't let Frank in on the secret.

Shadows on the Wall

John: I like how the concierge at the restaurant waits patiently for Richard Garner to take off his coat so he can come collect it. Maybe that was one of the dozens of roles that Collinwood staffers used to fill, in the absence of purchasing a coat rack.

Unless it comes up again, I think we can safely avoid a 'Maggie Evans sail training' tracker...

Christine: Frank was cozied up next to Vicki when we last saw them in the restaurant, but is seated across from her today. Did they change seating arrangements because she nipped off mid grilled cheese sandwich to change her dress?
